Philosophy.
Today, from government schools to premium tuition centres, education everywhere is all-focused on getting grades rather than on the learning process. Our approach is radically different – we challenge our students to learn Physics and Mathematics with curiosity and a critical attitude. We strongly believe that encouraging a love for learning, rather than a results-based pursuit, will better prepare our students for life while we pique their passion in Physics and Math. And as our students go through an honest and comprehensive learning process, they will often unwittingly performed above their expectations.
The method which guides our teaching is the First-Principles Approach. We strive to explain all concepts from a basic understanding through a derivation paradigm. Take a simple analogy from arithmetic: 3 x 3 = 9. While most tuition centres are happy to stop at that, and drill into students to excel at doing questions, however, we further reinforce in our students the fundamental reasoning behind any concept, and in this simple analogy, 3 x 3 = 3+3+3 = 9.
